Washington
Redskins posters include a fairly balanced selection of all-time
Redskins greats and current Skins stars. The Washington Redskins
franchise has won three
Super Bowl titles and appeared in five Superbowls in the post-merger era.Washington Redskins Posters - Clinton PortisClinton Portis was a 2nd round pick of the Denver Broncos in the 2002 NFL Draft. He was a star runner out of the University of Miami, leading the Hurricanes to a National Championship in 2001. Portis was a star with the Broncos, but after he made contract demands in 2004, the Broncs traded him to the Redskins. Since that time, Portis has been the starting running back for the Skins, sharing time with Ladell Betts. Allposters.com has numerous Clinton Portis posters, most of them action poses with him running with the ball. One has him leaping into the endzone while the Skins sideline watches on. The second poster has portis running for daylight while the San Diego Chargers chasing him. Two other posters have Clinton Portis in open territory, one against the Chicago Bears and one against the Dallas Cowboys. Washington Redskins Football Posters - Jason CampbellJason Campbell was a 1st round selection of the Redskins in 2005 NFL Draft. Campbell is the starting quarterback for Washington. He was the passer for Auburn University before he came to the National Football League. Campbell has mobility and a strong arm, though he continues to be inconsistent due to inexperience. Jason Campbell is coming off a major injury which put him on I.R. in 2007. Jason Campbell posters come in two options. The first is Jason Campbell in the pocket, raring back to throw the ball from a pocket. The second Jason Campbell poster shows the Big 3 of 2007, with Campbell, Clinton Portis and Santana Moss. Santana Moss PostersSantana Moss came into the league with the New York Jets, but was traded to the Washington Redskins in 2005 for Lavenues Coles. Santana Moss had a career year in 2005, though his production has slipped in the past two seasons. The Redskins recently drafted two wide receivers in the 2nd round, Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly. These two receivers are big targets, which might mean bad things for the Santana Moss. Jim Zorn, the Skins' new head coach, utilizes the West Coast Offense, which tends to use larger receivers. All Posters has eight Santana Moss posters. Most of the posters show Moss with a run-after-catch. One has Santana Moss running to his left with a Dolphins defender leaping at him, while a second has Moss running left as a Dallas Cowboys defender chasing him. A third favorite poster shows Santana Moss doing a dance after a touchdown. Joe Theismann Posters - Washington Redskins GreatsJoe Theismann led the Washington Redskins to their first Super Bowl victory in 1982. Theismann was a Heisman-candidate when he played at Notre Dame in the 1970's. He became a solid quarterback in D.C., and led Joe Gibbs' team to back-to-back Superbowls. Theismann's career was cut short when his leg was broken in a collision with Lawrence Taylor. There are two Joe Theismann posters on AllPosters. One has Theisman in a seventies-era pose, dropping back to throw the ball in a red Redskins jersey, while a Philadelphia Eagles defensive end rushes him. The second one has Theismann in the pocket with Los Angeles Rams defender rushing him.
Doug Williams Posters - Super Bowl ChampionDoug Williams was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1978, and led the team to the playoffs three times early in his career. Due to a contract dispute, Williams left for the USFL. When the USFL folded, Doug Williams signed with the Redskins. He led the team to its second Super Bowl championship in 1987. Doug Williams was the first African-American quarterback to win an NFL title, so he was a trail-blazer among NFL quarterbacks. There are three Doug Williams posters, though two are quite similar. Two of them depict Doug Williams in his seven-step drop, while one shows Williams heaving the ball down the field. Washington Redskins Posters - Chris CooleyChris Cooley has been a star tight end and/or h-back for the Redskins these past three seasons. He was a 3rd rounder in the 2004 NFL Draft, but he became a factor in his second season. Chris Cooley is also known to play fantasy football with friends. Chris Cooley has two posters on the All Posters. One Chris Cooley poster has him spiking the football after a touchdown, while a second one has Cooley running a route. |
