Kansas City Chiefs Posters
NFL Posters – Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs posters sell well because their fans are some of the most passionate in all of football. Luckily for them, they have plenty of choices when it comes to making a purchase. Just take a look at a few of the poster options available over at AllPosters.com.
Kansas City Chiefs Posters – Larry Johnson
Taken as an insurance policy for running back Priest Holmes, Johnson was the team’s undisputed starter by 2006. That season, he rushed for 1,789 yards and 17 touchdowns. A true workhorse, he holds the NFL record for single-season rushing attempts (416).
You can’t go wrong with any of the Larry Johnson posters, as he looks like a freight train in all of them. While I would’ve loved to see him running someone over, the closest thing is “LJ” driving through an arm tackle. There are also two posters which feature Larry and teammates such as Tony Gonzalez and Trent Green.
Kansas City Posters – Arrowhead Stadium
Located in Kansas City, Missouri, Arrowhead Stadium is home to the Kansas City Chiefs. It is also referred to by fans as “Arrowhead” or “The Red Sea.” Sports Illustrated voted the stadium as the “Toughest Place to Play” in professional sports. Since the home opener in 1991, the stadium has sold out every Chiefs’ home game.
There are two different angles of Arrowhead Stadium available. One is from high above in the sky, while the other was taken from one of the upper levels of the stadium.
Tony Gonzales – Chiefs Tight End Posters
One of the best tight ends in football, Tony Gonzalez was selected in the first round of the 1997 NFL Draft. A nine-time Pro Bowl player, Gonzalez holds the records for most touchdowns and receptions by a tight end.
Nine different posters feature Tony Gonzalez, although three of them also include other members of the Chiefs. My favorite features a golden background with the word “Intensity” at the top.
Priest Holmes Posters
Running back Priest Holmes was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Baltimore Ravens. He went to the Chiefs in 2001 and rushed for 1,555 yards. The following year, he rushed for 1,615 yards and 21 touchdowns. Holmes suffered a spinal injury in 2005 and retired in 2007 after an attempted comeback.
A couple of great Priest Holmes posters are available which show him diving over the top of the line of scrimmage to score. One takes place against the Bears defense, while the other involves the Raiders. And there are also a number of posters which simply show him running with the ball.
Dante Hall Chiefs Era Posters
Known as “The X-factor,” Dante Hall is one of the league’s all-time great punt and kick returners. In 2003, he set an NFL record by returning a kickoff or punt for a touchdown four games in a row. In 2007, he was traded to the Rams for a third and fifth-round pick.
Surprisingly, the letter “X” only shows up in one of Dante Hall’s posters, but it also happens to be the coolest-looking one.
Kansas City Chiefs Football Posters – Dwayne Bowe
A 2007 selection of the Chiefs, Dwayne Bowe holds the LSU school record for most total touchdowns by a player. In his rookie season, he led all first-year receivers with 70 receptions, 995 yards and six touchdowns.
There’s some good variety on the Dwayne Bowe posters. Options include: running, receiving and getting tackled. The best one shows him making a difficult catch.
